An ethereal shift
An enter to exit
No backspace
Nothing to erase

No feelings
No control
Free as a dove
No more in love

  1. Asha, I see you’ve followed my OLD blog, Stanton Sunshine. I now only post on my new blog, Inner Sunshine. Please visit me there ( and click for a free subscription — thanks! πŸ™‚

      1. Hey Asha, thanks so much! By the way, my oncologist is from India, as well! I don’t know what region he is from, though. Anyways, he is a great person and so apparently are you! πŸ™‚

  2. Hi Asha! Thanks for liking my writing. I am so glad you found my blog! (would you care to share how you found me? Trying to learn where my traffic comes from, etc.) Just today I announced on Facebook that I am staying away from Facebook except to read PMs from readers or see photos that are tagged with my name, etc. — so that I CAN MAKE BETTER USE OF MY TIME and read blog posts that I enjoy! πŸ™‚ You are in that category! I love poetry and writing too. Here’s to a great friendship! Debb

    1. Glad to add you to my friend’s list here on WP. It makes more sense to me than FB or any other networking hooks. Cheers to this newly found friendship. Keep smiling. You’re cute. πŸ™‚ Love, Asha. ❀

  3. Ah! I see I’ve missed your last few posts. I have to catch up!

As for this one, it’s precise and wonderfully on point! Loved it, short and sweet πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ŒπŸ’•

    1. Lovely to have you back. πŸ™‚ I have been training myself to write in the fewest possible words. It’s a struggle really. But a feat nonetheless. What have you been upto?

  4. How do you cram so much into such a short poem?! I am really glad you are writing so much in recent times, you are getting lots of likes and comments, it pleases me to see your talent is being recognised…I like your new photo too!

    1. Haha. You make it so delightful. J πŸ™‚
I have resorted to write often as I’ve realised I love to have more and more readers share their thoughts with me. Surprisingly, I find that more exciting than mere writing the posts. I may sound wee bit odd here. Anyway!
The photo is better than most others I have which make be look crank bit funny. Just kidding. πŸ˜›
Thank you for your flattering words. πŸ˜‰
      How was the weekend?

      1. It is wonderful to have feedback and different interpretations on your work, it expands the mind. You’re right it is always fun to log on to new comments and find new blogs to explore.

You photograph well my friend but it is nice to mix up the photos every so often.

My weekend was half work and half reading which makes me happy! I hope yours was as good but minus the work.
