Writing Inspiration #15

Writing is about what we feel and what we don’t. What we say and what we don’t. What we love and what we don’t. There is not one thing we can’t write about. When we can’t write, we may as well be writing about that. There’s merit in that too. Everything shapes your writing. But the experiences that touched your heart is what makes the difference. And author Salman Rushdie couldn’t put it more beautifully.

After this quote, I am planning to read Salman Rushdie’s books. If you’ve read any of his books, do tell which one’s the best to begin with.

Share your thoughts below; on his books and the quote above. I’d love to read them.

Catch you soon, dear reader. Happy writing, till we meet next.

Until then, carpe diem! 🙂

    1. I have been told like a zillion times that it’s a book to reckon with. I’ve started it two times but ran disinterested in the first few pages. I don’t know what it is that thrusts me away.

“I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions.” ― James A. Michener
