Writing Inspiration #29

In writing, often times, we are weighed down by our own passion to create the best pieces; pieces the world has never seen nor read. If anything, this passion pressure gets the better of us and there are days when writing down even a few words feels an avalanche of a job.

So what do you do; especially when you are tied down to finishing that book, or being chased by that deadline for the article submission?

Here’s what you must do as Hemingway says in not so many words but packed with just the right amount of energy to get you going on those dry days when motivation would refuse to come to your aid.

What do you think? What motivates you to keep going? Do Hemingway’s words make sense? Do share your thoughts below.

Happy reading till we meet next.

Until then, carpe diem! 🙂

    1. I tend to write really lengthy sentences and then cut it down by half when editing. But yes, I have disciplined my mind to make it a sentence at a time. That truly does help.

  1. Maybe writers block is a result of we are building something that’s not true .so we get stuck , as we can’t go ahead

“I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions.” ― James A. Michener
