Writing Inspiration #34

Let’s get one thing clear right now, shall we? There is no Idea Dump, no Story Central, no Island of the Buried Bestsellers; good story ideas seem to come quite literally from nowhere, sailing at you right out of the empty sky: two previously unrelated ideas come together and make something new under the sun. Your job isn’t to find these ideas but to recognize them when they show up.

  1. Good ideas come from dreams, driving down the road, in the shower, eating breakfast, reading a book, going to the book store. The point is good ideas come anytime from anywhere when doing anything.

    1. Rafi songs are some of my best when I am seeking solace or inspiration. We share that of which I am glad. Running helps me too, and oft times, it is when I am taking out the trash.
