‘The Musing Quill’ to ‘BadBookthief’

Hello dear reader,

What are you up to? The year is close to an end and January almost peeks around the corner. Gives me jitters, if you ask. How is your December?

There was so much to be done this year that I couldn’t manage and then some I never imagined doing. For instance, moving this blog from ‘The Musing Quill‘ to ‘BadBookthief‘.

It wasn’t a totally planned decision but not impulsive one either. I do not know what I should say except that the previous domain name didn’t work really well for me as I experienced drastic fall in the traffic I enjoyed 2 years ago.

On serious consideration, I came to the conclusion that it was time for a change. I am pinning my hopes on my new domain not only because it is closer to my goal compared to the previous one, but also because this one is quite personal.

Now, I know you are burning to know what it means. BadBookthief did not come to me with the spur of the moment. It means something, and that something almost defines a side of me, a part that is an obsessive booklover. Not just a reader, but book-dependent too.

In the next post, I shall elaborate more on why ‘Badbookthief’ but for now, I wish to tell you that soon the earlier url http://www.themusingquill.com will go inactive and you might not be able to reach me through it. All you have to do is:

  1. Subscribe to the mailing list of http://www.badbookthief.com
  2. Click on the Follow button on home page
  3. If you’re not able to do above 2, drop me an email on badbookthief@gmail.com

and you’re all set to go.

I hope you find badbookthief a much easier term to remember than its predecessor and that it helps me stay connected to you, easy and effective.

I am really looking forward to my trip I am about to embark on next week starting 12th Dec until I return on 26th Dec. Yeah, my annual leaves are a real long one this time and there’s a lot to do and a lot more places to cover as I shall be traversing through Uttarakhand, the northern beauty of the country.

Tell me about your weekend goals, upcoming Christmas plans, etc. I can’t wait to know all about you. Do share them in the comments section below.

Happy reading & writing, till we meet next.

Until then, carpe diem! 🙂
